The Natural World as a Classroom

Learning Beyond the Classroom

At Kaingo Eco Camp, students learn within a working Big Five reserve, where wildlife, landscapes and conservation become part of the classroom.

Through hands-on field activities, botanical walks, specialist sessions and opportunities to engage with ongoing research, students can explore biodiversity, develop practical field skills and discover the region’s archaeological heritage.

Programmes can be tailored to each group’s age, academic focus and learning objectives, connecting classroom concepts with real-world observations and showing how field knowledge contributes to conservation.
